Almost four years later, psychedelics as medicine are still a bit of a hot topic. Cannabis as a medication is now somewhat established, and I expect that magic truffles and mushrooms will need a few more years to become socially acceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems to have been forgotten that psychedelics were already being used for centuries before the modern pharmaceutical industry took over. The oldest evidence of magic mushroom use dates back to between 9,000 and 11,000 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
