We will therefore continue providing them while also complying with the COVID-19 policy. You can read below which services will continue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"symptomen-van-covid-19\">Symptoms of COVID-19<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, appointments can only proceed if neither the supervisor nor the participant is showing any symptoms that could indicate a coronavirus infection. These symptoms include the following:.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fever&nbsp;<\/li><li>Respiratory complaints such as coughing<\/li><li>Cold<\/li><li>Sneezing<\/li><li>Shortness of breath<\/li><li>Common cold<\/li><li>Runny nose<\/li><li>Sneezing<\/li><li>A sore throat<\/li><li>Mild cough<\/li><li>Increase (up to 38 degrees)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"beperking-groepsgrootte\">Group size limitation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The maximum number of attendees during our sessions is limited to the number prescribed by COVID-19 policy. This currently means a maximum of three people. For in-home sessions, people from the same household may attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"avondklok\">Curfew<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#039;s currently a curfew in place from 9:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Our in-home sessions need to start a little earlier to allow for a slight delay and travel time to get back on time. Below, we offer tips on how to strengthen your immune system against viruses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"voorkomen-van-besmetting\">Preventing contamination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Preventing infection currently seems to be only possible temporarily, unless you isolate yourself on a deserted island for a very long time. Delaying infection increases the chance that a medication will become available that could help you. These are the practical things you can do to reduce the risk of infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wash hands and wrists regularly<\/li><li>Don&#039;t go to places with people unnecessarily<\/li><li>Do not apply products to your body that may cause inflammation or allergic reactions.<\/li><li>Do not use perfumed products such as deodorants and detergents<\/li><li>Do not eat any of the known allergens<\/li><li>Wear the correct face masks in public situations<\/li><li>Quit smoking and avoid breathing polluted air<\/li><li>Breathe through the nose and clean it with a non-irritating rinse after contact with potentially infected air<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ontstekingen-voorkomen\">Prevent inflammation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We must prevent inflammation to protect our immune systems from the threat of the coronavirus. Several sources can cause inflammation. Stress also indirectly causes additional inflammation. Therefore, avoid all forms of stress. Research is currently underway using quercetin and vitamin D to inhibit viruses. Combining these two substances could be even more effective. We produce vitamin D in the sun through exposure to moderate UV light. Currently, sunlight is too weak, and you can take vitamin D as a supplement or by eating trout, salmon, mackerel, or eggs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ontstekingsremmende-voeding\">Anti-inflammatory diet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>By eating the right foods, we can support our immune system. It&#039;s crucial to avoid foods that promote inflammation. You should absolutely avoid any food you&#039;re allergic to, especially now. The foods you can eat actually have anti-inflammatory effects. Shiitake mushrooms contain beta-glucans, including AHCC, which increase the amount of interferon-gamma in the lungs. Interferon-gamma is an inflammatory protein that activates the immune system in a way that inhibits viral infection but protects the membranes\/cells in the lungs. AHCC activates the immune system&#039;s natural killer cells, natural killer T-cells, and gamma-delta T-cells, making us better prepared for a potential infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the effect of AHCC on COVID-19 has not yet been studied, supplementation with AHCC during infections with several viruses similar to COVID-19 has been shown to be effective in reducing mortality in laboratory animals and humans.
