I did an MDMA session with Ronald about a week and a half ago for PTSD. Because I could feel there was a lot of fear and pain to be processed inside me I felt quite nervous before the session. Ronald's presence, kindness and professionalism really helped with this. The beginning of the experience was very intense and I felt a lot of fear but knowing that he was there made me very safe, despite the fact we had only met in person less than an hour before that. The session certainly opened another pathway in my mind that showed me that healing and finding your true self that is unshakable is definitely possible. For it was one of the most powerful experiences of my life and I've done ayahuasca 6 times, so that says a lot about how much shifted in just one session.

Since then I've been sleeping better, been more mindful and have been able to concentrate better. Of course negative emotion and problematic thoughts patterns still arise, but this is normal throughout life and what's been important for me is to still do the work on a day to day basis. Things like meditating, quietening my mind, getting to bed earlier, recognizing thoughts for what they are and most crucially seeing that what is ultimately behind all my anger, rage and obsessive thinking about the past is actually just fear. And this awareness is what has been transformative for me. I will do another 2 MDMA sessions followed by a hippie flip. Between these sessions I'm also doing IFS sessions with another therapist. So there's plenty of more work to be done on my side, but for sure something undoubtedly shifted inside me during that first MDMA session and this gives me much optimism about the future.

For anybody who is interested in doing a session with anybody in this team, what I would like to say is that they are very professional, knowledgeable and care about your safety and wellbeing. One final thing to mention is that for people who are doing therapy for a variety reasons and perhaps feel stuck that they're not making progress, psychedelics can really help a lot and there's no question that the therapists with Trip Therapy can help you facilitate that in an environment and setting where you'll be taken good care of.
