The difference between low and high doses of magic truffles lies not only in intensity but also in the quality of the experience — including how deep you go emotionally and spiritually, and how your body reacts, especially around nausea or vomiting.
Low doses (micro to moderate range, e.g. 1–10 grams fresh)
- Depth: These doses usually induce subtle shifts in mood, perception, and thought. You may experience enhanced introspection, light visuals, emotional release, or insights, but you usually remain grounded in reality. This range is great for therapeutic exploration, emotional processing, and personal growth with less risk of being overwhelmed.
- Nausea/Vomiting: Rare. The body tolerates low doses well. If nausea occurs, it’s often mild and manageable through breathwork or ginger tea.
High doses (typically 15+ grams fresh, especially over 25g)
- Depth: At this level, the experience becomes deeply immersive — ego dissolution, intense visuals, time distortion, and spiritual or mystical states are more common. You may lose track of your body or surroundings entirely. This can be profoundly healing or enlightening, but it also carries more psychological risk if unprepared.
- Nausea/Vomiting: Significantly more likely. The gastrointestinal system often reacts to higher amounts of psilocybin and fibrous truffle material. Vomiting doesn't happen that much when we make truffle tea and filter the fibres.
How Triptherapie handles this:
During a magic truffle session, the dose is tailored based on your goals, experience level, neurochemistry, and sensitivity. If you're new or seeking emotional clarity without overwhelming intensity, a lower to moderate dose is advised. For trauma healing, deep transformation, or spiritual breakthrough, a higher dose may be chosen — but only with careful guidance and preparation.
