Magic truffles
Magic truffles are a portion of psychoactive mushrooms that contain psilocybin and psilocin. These are psychedelic substances that can lead to hallucinations, changes in perception, emotions and psychological effects. These substances can influence visual and auditory abilities, as well as the sense of time and space. The effects usually begin within 15-30 minutes after ingestion and can last 3-6 hours. The intensity and duration of the effects vary and depend mainly on the dosage, personal sensitivity and the environment.
Truffle session at Triptherapie
At Trip Therapy we offer a truffle session in combination with support. Our program is designed to prepare, guide and support you. During the preparation phase, we work with you to set your intention and provide you with advice on how to improve your neurochemistry. You will also receive other tips to prepare for the truffle session.
During the truffle session, psilocybin in truffle form is consumed after the introductory conversation. We encourage an introspective experience that can reveal important realizations and insights.
After the session it is important to integrate the experience into your daily life, which our experienced guides can help with. Together we look at how we can process the trip into results.

Individual or group session?
Individual truffle session
One of the advantages of a private session is that it can be more focused and personal. With the individual truffle sessions we can fully focus on the specific needs and goals of the person undergoing the session. There is more room for individual guidance, where real attention is paid to the person undergoing the session. This can provide profound therapeutic experiences that are less likely to take place in a group such as a truffle ceremony.
A private truffle session can provide a sense of security and trust and can feel less intimidating than a truffle ceremony, which can be overwhelming for some. There can also be more flexibility in session length, timing and set and setting.
Truffle ceremony
A truffle ceremony with psilocybin has several advantages. First of all, the costs are usually lower than if someone were to just book an individual session. This makes it accessible for more people to experience the therapy.
In addition, the group feeling can contribute to a feeling of connection and support during the trip.
Having fellow participants can help you better understand and process the experience, as those attending the ceremony often participate for the same reasons.
Furthermore, sharing experiences with others can provide the opportunity to learn from each other and gain new insights.
Who would you like to have a truffle session with?
It is essential to feel good with the person guiding you during a truffle session, because it is a very personal and intimate experience. You come into contact with different parts of your psyche that otherwise remain undiscovered and this can sometimes lead to unexpected emotions. That's why it's important that you feel safe and supported, as this allows you to fully open yourself up to the experience and embrace every emotion that comes up. A good counselor will not only understand that this experience can be intense, but will also be able to reassure and guide you through any emotions or challenges that arise. Exploring your own subconscious can be both transformative and experiential. Having someone by your side who both supports and understands you contributes to the effectiveness of a truffle session.

Which supervisor suits you best? We have both male and female supervisors from different backgrounds. Our supervisors/therapists can make a home visit as long as it is within Dutch borders and within the range of their distance restrictions. For this on-site service you can use your own home, holiday home, private Airbnb or hotel.

Do you live far away or are you coming from abroad? In that case, you can also choose to rent a house/hotel/Airbnb closer to the beautiful Noordwijkerhout or you can use our space in Schiedam.
For the sessions at the customer's location, the cities and places between the following cities are easy to reach for me: Alkmaar, Amsterdam, The Hague, Leiden, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Zaandam. Do you prefer a place with more nature and/or beach? Noordwijk, Scheveningen and Zandvoort are nearby coastal towns that I recommend.
