Mushroom ceremony or truffle ceremony?
During a mushroom ceremony, we use psilocybin-containing truffles instead of magic mushrooms. Truffles are essentially the underground parts of the magic mushrooms and contain exactly the same psychedelic substances, just in slightly different proportions. The effects of magic truffles and magic mushrooms are therefore almost identical. Truffles were chosen because Dutch law considers psilocybin mushrooms an illegal Schedule 1 hard drug and truffles a legal recreational drug.

Many customers from Belgium
Recently, there has been a relatively high level of media attention in Belgium focused on the healing effects of psilocybin. This is why many people from Belgium come to the Netherlands for psychedelic ceremonies, as it is illegal in Belgium. Another factor, of course, is that we have much longer experience using these psychedelic substances here in the Netherlands. Our clients regularly tell us that doctors in Belgium suggest our services "off the record" as an alternative to conventional care, which is often inadequate.
Most Belgian clients travel to the Netherlands in small groups of 2-6 people and use our Psychedelic Loft space in Schiedam. After the session, they spend the night in Schiedam before returning home.

Mushroom ceremony UK
People coming to the Netherlands from the United Kingdom often search for the terms "Mushroom ceremony" or "psilocybin session." I believe this search for a psilocybin session is due to the increasing number of studies being conducted in Great Britain on psilocybin for depression, addiction, and anxiety disorders. Although the studies are being conducted there with approval, psychedelic therapy is not permitted outside of these studies. For these reasons, more and more Britons are finding their way to the Netherlands to still benefit from the therapeutic effects of psilocybin.
Most Brits choose to fly to Schiphol Airport and then book an Airbnb or hotel near Amsterdam, Haarlem, or Zandvoort. The psychedelic session then takes place at the location they booked.

Wherever you come from, you are, of course, welcome. The languages spoken are Dutch and English. If you don't speak these languages, you can bring your own interpreter. We also recommend reserving the day after the session as a recovery day, and if this is the day of your return flight, make sure it's not too early or postpone your return flight by a day.
