Deep therapeutic truffle retreat
For those seeking more therapeutic guidance around psychedelic ceremonies, such as a truffle ceremony, we now offer a customized program specifically focused on therapeutic support during our four-day psychedelic retreats. This four-day retreat is a carefully crafted experience where preparation, ceremony, and integration complement each other. It's a unique opportunity to legally experience the power of psilocybin, found in magic truffles.
This retreat is more profound because it focuses not only on the psychedelic experience itself, but on the entire therapeutic process surrounding it. The four-day structure, including online preparation, a guided truffle ceremony, and an extensive integration day, supports the inner journey on a physical, emotional, and relational level. Methods such as IFS, Voice Dialogue, Psychodrama, and mindfulness are used, ensuring that insights are not fleeting but embodied and integrated into daily life. Guidance from experienced therapists and a follow-up session after six weeks ensure that transformation is not simply touched upon but truly integrated.
The supervising therapists
These retreats are led by Ronald Hochstenbach and Reineke Brandt, both therapists who, in addition to their personal and professional experience, have also completed the RINO training for psychedelic therapy. Within Triptherapie, they have further developed the Triptherapie protocol, which combines preparation, guidance, and integration from a holistic perspective. Ronald is a psychosocial therapist and mindfulness trainer with a background in body-oriented and transpersonal therapy. He brings peace, clarity, and safety to processes of deep inner transformation. Reineke is a psychologist, yoga teacher, and breathwork coach, working from a warm, embodied presence that invites trust and softening. With her experience in Yoga Nidra, breathwork, and body-oriented integration, she guides participants in anchoring insights into daily life. Together, they offer a safe, professional, and person-centered environment in which healing and growth can unfold naturally.
Ronald is a psychosocial therapist and has completed the following training: Jungian Philosophical Therapist, Psychodrama Therapist, Master Voice Dialogue, Transformational Psychology, Internal Family System (IFS), Mindfulness and Compassion Trainer.
As a psychologist, Reineke combines both conventional and alternative care methods. She utilizes various techniques, such as talk therapy, yoga, breathing exercises, and EMDR, combined with the therapeutic effects of psychedelics.
The therapeutic modalities
This retreat will utilize a rich combination of therapeutic modalities that complement and deepen each other. An integrative approach will incorporate elements from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Voice Dialogue, TSM Psychodrama, Interpersonal Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion-Based Practice. These methods help to recognize inner parts, create space for emotions, and develop compassion for what emerges. In addition, body-oriented techniques such as breathwork, TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises), and Yoga Nidra will be used to engage the body in the integration process. By uniting mind, heart, and body, an experiential deepening is created in which insights are not only understood but truly felt and embodied.

This retreat is designed for those who not only seek a unique psychedelic experience but also long for therapeutic deepening and inner healing. It is suitable for anyone who feels a need to shift. This could involve releasing old patterns, healing emotional pain, or rediscovering direction and meaning in life. During the retreat, we will work with various therapeutic modalities such as IFS (Internal Family Systems), Voice Dialogue, TSM Psychodrama, Interpersonal Mindfulness, Self-Compassion-Based Work, Body-Oriented Therapy, TRE (Tension & Trauma Release Exercises), and Yoga Nidra. This integrative approach creates space to not only gain insights but also to feel and embed them in the body and in daily life. This retreat is therefore particularly suitable for those who wish to connect psychological growth, embodiment, and spiritual development into a single whole.
The difference between a truffle ceremony and the four-day therapeutic psychedelic retreat is mainly in the depth, duration and therapeutic guidance. A truffle ceremony is usually a one- or two-day experience that focuses on the inner journey itself. This is a guided truffle journey with attention to intention, music, and emotional support. The three-day retreat, on the other hand, is structured as a complete therapeutic process, in which preparation, experience and integration connected. In addition to the truffle ceremony, an entire day is dedicated to body-oriented and psychological integration, guided by therapists trained through RINO and trained in the Triptherapie protocol. In addition, there is an online preparation session beforehand and a follow-up six weeks later to anchor insights. While a truffle ceremony mainly offers a single transformative experience, the three-day retreat is designed as a complete journey of awareness, healing and anchoring in daily life.
The price of this comprehensive retreat is €1350. This includes extensive therapeutic support and two nights' accommodation. If you'd prefer a less intensive weekend with one ceremony, consider the truffle ceremony with overnight stay from 650 euros.
A psychedelic ceremony can carry risks, especially for people with certain medical conditions or who are taking certain medications. Some of the main risks include:
No, at the Schiedam location, there's a large 80m² ceremony room and two bedrooms, each with three beds. For six participants staying overnight, we often have two people per bedroom and another two people divided over the ceremony room. The arrangement is discussed with the group, but we do separate the male and female participants. If you really want a private room, consider staying overnight at a nearby hotel, or opt for a private session with an integration day afterward.
It's not mandatory to stay overnight at our retreats. Some people choose to stay in a nearby hotel or at home for more privacy, returning the next morning to reconnect. Furthermore, staying overnight and participating in day four is optional, as day four focuses on breakfast and a final sharing session through a sharing circle.
Currently, health insurers do not reimburse psychedelic therapy. For now, psychedelic therapy is not yet recognized as a medical treatment and is considered more like coaching under the influence of a stimulant. We expect that psychedelic therapy will not be partially reimbursed until 2026/2027, under certain conditions. By then, more research will have been completed, and health insurers may be less hesitant.
To make a reservation, we need two things: we need to check if you can participate in such a ceremony, and you can do this via this intake. In addition you also need to to reserve a spot Via the group ceremonies booking page. After your reservation is approved, you will receive an email with a deposit request. After payment, your reservation is final, and we will begin preparing your personalized ceremony.
