Fisetin? What's it in?
Fisetin is a flavonol found in high concentrations in strawberries and, to a lesser extent, in apples and persimmons. It's found in even lower doses in kiwi, peach, tomato, onion, and cucumber peels.

What do I use fisetin for?
Fisetin helps us age more slowly and also has the following functions:
- Fisetin promotes the production of glutathione in the cells, especially in the nerve cells
- Glutathione binds to fat-soluble toxins such as heavy metals, solvents, pesticides and makes them water-soluble so they can be excreted in the urine
- Glutathione protects the liver, immune system and DNA
- Fisetin helps kill cancer cells at an early stage by interfering with the innate immune system and inhibiting tumor cell growth by blocking the cell cycle
- Fisetin also appears to be able to slow down Huntington's disease.
- Due to its anti-inflammatory effect, it counteracts cognitive decline in conditions such as Alzheimer's disease.
