Magic truffle therapy at Good Times Bad Times (GTST)
During episode 6405 of "Good Times, Bad Times," Ludo Sanders' therapist recommends magic truffle therapy. This is also sometimes called guided tripping or trip therapy. In our opinion, this is done in a way that is too forceful. Here at trip therapy, we advise doing it only out of complete self-confidence. Knowing that someone is doing it out of their own accord helps them allow the effects of the psilocybin/psilocin from the truffles to take effect.

Ongoing guided trip?
At the end of the episode, you see Ludo Sanders tripping while walking during his psychedelic session. In almost all truffle therapy sessions, the intention isn't for people to walk around under the influence, as that focuses their attention too much externally. During the peak of such a session, the goal is to lie down with your eyes closed, letting the music and scents guide you, interspersed with the occasional question.

Dosage and preparation
Perhaps we're too early to comment, and in the next episodes we'll see more of how we think such a session should proceed. Furthermore, we haven't seen anything about the dosage used or any additional preparations. Clients who register with us for a guided truffle ceremony receive advice based on their intake. We also provide dosage advice, as there's a significant difference between the dosages.

Magic truffles and psychedelics are not for everyone
If you have certain (mental) conditions, it's best to avoid using psychedelics. Schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and serious blood and/or heart conditions are contraindications. After completing the intake form, we can assess whether you can participate in a magic truffle session.
