Psychedelic Intensive: Coming Home to Yourself
This two-day psychedelic intensive invites you not just to experience something, but to come home more deeply to yourself. You'll be guided in a safe, carefully nurtured setting for psilocybin experiences, with a strong emphasis on integration and embodiment.
It's not a separate ceremony or a purely therapeutic process, but a cohesive program in which encounter, experience, integration, and embodiment intertwine. You are invited to explore who or what you are at your deepest core and how this can resonate in your life.
The psychedelic session is the heart of the first day. The second day is dedicated to processing what you've experienced, both in your body, your relationships, and your daily life.
We work from an attitude of softening, opening, and clear observation rather than forcing. You practice an attitude of welcoming rather than resisting: what appears is allowed to be. In this openness, space, insight, and deeper connection with yourself can arise.
Who is this psychedelic retreat for?
This intensive is right for you if you're curious about your inner world and want to explore what lives beneath the surface. You're willing to look at yourself honestly, even at areas you might prefer to avoid, and to do so with openness rather than judgment. It's a program for people who not only seek insight but also yearn for true integration into their daily lives. They want to understand not only why something is the way it is, but also how it could be different.
Perhaps you find yourself often feeling stuck in your head, overanalyzing or worrying, while deep down you long for a greater connection with yourself. Or perhaps you feel a need for peace, for slowing down, for a place where silence and depth can flourish. If you are open to vulnerability, to allowing emotions to flow freely, and to the process as it unfolds, then this intensive is a good fit for you.
It's less suitable if you're primarily looking for spectacle, a quick fix, or an experience you can fully control. This intensive doesn't demand performance, but presence. It's especially suitable if you want to deepen rather than accelerate, want to soften rather than force, and long for clarity that arises from within and permeates your life.
What will this intensive bring you?
You can come home to an expanded consciousness that reaches beyond your usual way of seeing. A perspective in which fixed beliefs loosen somewhat and you can see yourself, your history, and your future in a broader light. Not as an escape from reality, but as an expansion of it.
You can also come home to a deeper connection with your body and your inner life. Where feelings are no longer just understood with your head, but actually felt and experienced. Where signals from your body regain meaning and your intuition becomes more clearly audible.
In addition, more gentleness and clarity can arise in how you meet yourself. Less internal struggle, less hardness, and more understanding of your own processes. Clarity doesn't mean everything is resolved, but rather that you can look at yourself with greater awareness and compassion.
You can experience access to a more expansive, supportive layer of awareness. An inner foundation that exists even when emotions are intense or when life is rough. A sense of spaciousness instead of constriction, of being carried instead of just carrying.
And finally, you can come home with concrete, achievable steps to embed your insights in your daily life. Not just a special experience, but a movement that impacts how you make choices, communicate, set boundaries, and take care of yourself.
We work not only with what you experience in the psychedelic session, but especially with how you relate to yourself and the world afterwards.
It is about a shift from doing to being, grasping to allowing, resistance to trust.
The supervising therapists
Gijs has been working for decades at the intersection of meditation, consciousness, and psychotherapy. He began his career in mainstream mental health care and has been offering mindfulness, compassion, ACT, and Open Focus training since 2008. He combines clinical experience with contemplative depth, offering a safe, well-supported environment.
Mascha has over thirty years of experience in body-oriented work. She is trained in IFS (Internal Family Systems), yoga-based trauma therapy, Feldenkrais, VITA Coaching, Heart EQ, relationship coaching, and systemic work. Her guidance is warm, down-to-earth, and body-oriented.
Together, Gijs and Mascha bring over sixty years of combined experience in training, therapy, and consciousness work. This wealth of experience is felt not as theory, but as presence. As craftsmanship that has been lived through, refined, and attuned to what is needed in the moment.
Gijs embodies space and silence. He invites us to slow down, to relax, to allow whatever presents itself without trying to control it. In his presence, an atmosphere arises where nothing is necessary and everything is allowed to be. Silence doesn't become emptiness, but a supportive quality in which insight and awareness can naturally illuminate.
Mascha brings movement and embodiment. She helps you not only understand, but also feel and integrate into your body. Where words fail, she opens the path to experience. Her energy supports expression, flow, and truly inhabiting what you discover.
Together they form a complementary and safe environment. Space and movement, stillness and expression, awareness and embodiment converge in a tailored approach where you can feel supported and seen.
Approaches in this intensive
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
We work with Internal Family Systems to learn to recognize and understand different parts of yourself. Instead of suppressing inner conflicts, we create space to look at your protectors, pain points, and desires with gentleness and curiosity. This increases inner coherence and strengthens your capacity for self-leadership.
Body-oriented therapy & Feldenkrais
Body-oriented therapy and Feldenkrais support restoring connection with your body. Mentally ingrained patterns are often also stored in muscle tension, posture, and movement. By subtly working with awareness and movement, relaxation, regulation, and new freedom of choice can emerge.
Yoga and breathwork
Yoga and breathwork bring you out of your mind and back into direct experience. Breath acts as a bridge between body and mind, helping you release tension, feel emotions, and regulate your nervous system.
Mindfulness and compassion training
Mindfulness and compassion training form a foundation of attention and gentleness. You learn to be present with what is happening, without reacting or judging immediately. Compassion deepens this process by cultivating a warm, accepting attitude toward yourself and others.
Insight Dialogue & Interpersonal Mindfulness
Insight Dialogue and Interpersonal Mindfulness bring awareness into contact with others. Instead of just inner work, clarity also emerges in relationships. You explore how you react, where you lose yourself, and how you can remain authentically present in connection.
ACT for anchoring in daily life
ACT helps you embed insights into your daily life. Not by striving for a problem-free existence, but by learning to live by your values, even when things get tough. It supports concrete, achievable steps that align with who you want to be.
Non-dual psychology
Non-dual psychology opens up perspectives beyond personal narratives. Here, we explore what consciousness itself is, beyond identification with thoughts and emotions. This can bring a profound sense of spaciousness and simplicity.
Tantra and embodiment
Tantra and embodiment invite us to fully experience life. Not just the light and pleasant, but also the raw and intense. Through presence, breath, movement, and contact, a deeper integration of body, heart, and consciousness arises.
The program of the two-day intensive
The program consists of several components, including the intake, following a personal preparation plan, online group preparation, the ceremony, the integration day and a follow-up video call.
Intake
Completing the intake form is necessary so we can assess your eligibility for psychedelic sessions. If you are eligible, you will receive personalized preparation advice from us shortly after booking, based on the intake information you provided.
Personal preparation
After booking
The personalized preparation we provide after booking is designed to prepare you physically and mentally for the ceremony itself. This advice is tailored to your intake and you can carry it out independently. If you need support, you can always contact the Triptherapie team.
Online group preparation
Approximately 1.5 hours via Zoom, approximately one week in advance
We'll begin with an online gathering to strengthen intention, safety, and connection. In a joint online meeting, you'll meet Gijs, Mascha, and the other participants, fostering a sense of safety and connection from the start. You'll receive clear explanations about the program and the structure of the psychedelic session, so you know what to expect. We'll take time to explore and deepen your intention, serving as an inner compass for the journey. Gijs will lead a short meditation to help you slow down and connect with yourself. There's time to ask questions and share any concerns or expectations. Afterward, you'll receive in-depth questions by email to prepare you, so you can begin the intensive consciously and attuned.

By writing about your experiences and connecting this to integrative work with IFS, mindfulness and body-oriented exercises, your process will gain substance and meaning.
A longer Yoga Nidra practice supports deep physical integration, after which you write a compassionate letter to yourself to enhance gentleness and clarity.
During a silent walk in nature, everything is given the space to sink in, after which we work with values and small, concrete commitments to anchor your insights.
We conclude with a gentle landing of your intention in the body and a joint light and farewell ritual.
Follow-up
Online follow-up (1.5 hours via Zoom)
In a final online meeting about a month later, you will reflect together on:
how the experience affects your daily life;
what has been deepened or changed;
what you are up against;
what support you need.
Together we explore how your new direction or intentions manifest in your life and how you can continue to nourish them.

Questions about the two-day truffle retreat
Frequently Asked Questions about the Psychedelic Truffle Retreats
This two-day program is a cohesive process that combines preparation, experience, and integration. The psychedelic session with psilocybin is a key component, but equally important is the deepening on day two and the follow-up meeting. The program focuses on embodiment and anchoring in your daily life, not just on the experience itself.
The intensive takes place at De Bedding in 's-Hertogenbosch, a floating location on the Ertveldplas lake. This watery and green environment provides peace, privacy, and natural tranquility. Many participants find the combination of water, air, and space calming and supportive of inner work.
The price of this comprehensive retreat is €950. This includes extensive therapeutic support and an overnight stay. If you'd prefer a less intensive weekend with just one ceremony, consider the truffle ceremony with overnight stay from 600 euros.
De Bedding combines a sense of security with openness. Inside, the space is warm, understated, and thoughtfully designed. Outside, the water and natural surroundings create a sense of space and freedom. This interplay makes the location ideal for in-depth, guided sessions and retreats.
Before participating, a professional screening will be conducted through Triptherapie to assess whether a psychedelic session is appropriate and safe for you at this time. Your physical and mental health, as well as your personal background, will be taken into account. During the session, there will be continuous guidance from two highly experienced professionals, and the guides will remain available at night.
It's not mandatory to stay overnight at our retreats. Some people choose to stay in a nearby hotel or at home for more privacy and return the next morning to reconnect.
No, experience isn't required. Both people with previous experience and those participating for the first time are welcome, provided they pass the screening. The careful structure and guidance make the program accessible and safe.
The group size is small, ensuring ample personal attention and safety. There's room for connection and exchange, but nothing is forced. You always retain control over what you share. At the De Bedding location in Den Bosch, ceremonies are limited to a maximum of four people.
