Psychedelic session for Germans
There are several reasons why customers from Germany choose to come to us in the Netherlands for psychedelic therapy. An important difference between the legislation in the Netherlands and Germany is that the Netherlands offers more room for the use of certain psychedelic substances such as psilocybin, LSD and MDMA in a therapeutic setting. This has ensured that there is growing expertise in the Netherlands in the field of psychedelic therapy, which is (even) less developed in Germany. Moreover, it is more difficult for Germans to do psychedelic therapy due to the legislation on social taboos surrounding psychedelics in Germany. The German-speaking therapists
Speaking the native language is a great advantage in therapy. By being able to communicate in your own language, subtle nuances in feelings and emotions can be better conveyed. After all, sharing emotions and thoughts can be quite difficult when someone does not feel completely at home in the language in which they are spoken.
When someone speaks in a language other than the one in which he or she feels most comfortable, it can lead to miscommunication, making effective therapy difficult and possibly leaving certain emotions undiscussed.
By using the mother tongue, the therapist can better understand what the patient wants to say and better respond to their needs. This can lead to better and faster progress in therapy. To make it easier and more efficient for German speakers, we now have three German-speaking therapists you can do a psychedelic session with. Ronald is a psychosocial therapist with a lot of experience working with psychedelics. Reineke is a psychologist who offers psychedelic sessions in addition to her own practice. Gijs can also guide sessions in German and has a lot of experience working in the mental health sector.
Ronald as a psychedelic psychosocial therapist
Ronald is a psychosocial therapist at Triptherapie. He has more than 30 years of experience in guiding people with trauma-related complaints. Ronald combines his work as a therapist with his experience in working with psychedelics, such as MDMA and psilocybin. He has had experience with MDMA and psilocybin since 1990 and combines his work as a therapist with psychedelic sessions. He works in German, Dutch and English.

Due to differences in legislation, it is currently only possible for Germans to use our services on Dutch territory. Ronald lives in Valkenswaard, near Eindhoven, and is not too far away from Germany. So you can come to the Netherlands to do a session with Ronald. Reineke as a psychologist
Reineke also works as a psychologist for Triptherapie and can conduct sessions in German. Reineke combines her knowledge of psychedelic therapy with mindfulness, aromatherapy and psychology. Reineke works with psilocybin and MDMA. In addition to German, the sessions can also be done in Dutch or English.

Gijs as therapist
Gijs worked for a long time within the regular mental health care, including as a practitioner in crisis intervention and as a lecturer and supervisor at the MGZ-GGZ course of the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN). Within Triptherapie, Gijs supervises individual psychedelic sessions aimed at personal growth, trauma integration and restoration of mental balance. Gijs speaks Dutch as her mother tongue. Sessions can also be done in English or German.
