Schiedam as a historic city
In Schiedam they say that Rotterdam is a nice slum of Schiedam. The city of Schiedam was spared from the bombings and as a result the city center has perhaps retained its charm. Schiedam is located between The Hague and Rotterdam and Delft, Vlaardingen, Dordrecht, Zoetermeer and Gouda are also quite nearby. The Psychedelic Loft is located on the border of the historic center of Schiedam and has a direct view of De Noord Molen, the highest mill in the world. Before or after the session it may be worthwhile to visit the city center.
The art in the Psychedelic Loft
This national monument from 1873 is a former gin distillery and a former art gallery. The ground floor has been modernized and redesigned for giving psychedelic therapy and truffle ceremonies. During the redesign, the current use of the space was taken into account, giving our psychedelic sessions an extra dimension. The building contains objects and works of art that can provide additional effects to the psychedelic session. We change the art occasionally to give returning customers a different experience each time. Below are examples of the paintings that we regularly display in the loft.
Truffle ceremony near Rotterdam and The Hague
Most people who come to us in Schiedam do a truffle ceremony in groups. Because Schiedam is easy to reach by train from The Hague and metro from Rotterdam, we get many people from the Rotterdam area, but also many people who come from abroad and fly into Rotterdam The Hague Airport. Overnight accommodation is included
When booking the Psychedelic Loft in Schiedam, the overnight stay is included. This is convenient because most people cannot participate in traffic for several hours after a psychedelic session. Of course, it is also possible to be picked up after the session or, if responsible, to return home by public transport. Thanks to the available bedrooms, our space is most suitable for overnight stays for 3 to 6 people. In fact, there are two separate bedrooms with three separate beds per room. Thanks to the (sleeping) couches and extra mattresses, we can create more sleeping places so that up to 8 people can stay overnight.
