The Triptherapie preparation
In addition to the psilocybin session and the integration phase, much attention is paid to preparing for a psilocybin session. Below, we provide a step-by-step plan for preparing for a psilocybin session at Triptherapie.
Step 1: Complete the intake form
You can complete the online intake form using the button below. We'll ask about your goals and medical information, and it includes a neurotransmitter test.
Step 2: First advice
We use the intake interview to determine if there are any contraindications that might prevent you from attending a session. If you are eligible for a session with us, we'll let you know which session we think is best for you.
Step 3: Reserve a date
After receiving our email with a suggestion for a psychedelic session, you can make a reservation. Use our booking system to schedule a date.
Step 4: Follow advice
After booking a date, a personalized lifestyle plan will be created. We'll use the completed intake form as the basis for this consultation. We'll provide nutritional and supplement tips to improve your neurochemistry, and we'll offer reading, viewing, and listening tips that can help you during the session.
Step 5: Provide feedback
Once the recommendations are implemented, if you need an adjustment or more assistance, please let us know. We'll help you prepare.
Step 6: Getting acquainted
Your psilocybin session guide will contact you a week beforehand. If needed, we can get acquainted.
Step 7: Psilocybin Session
On the day of the psilocybin session, some time is set aside beforehand to begin the session. Sessions typically last about 6 hours.
Step 8: Integration
A debriefing immediately after the session and/or a few days later, in conjunction with our emails, helps to translate the psilocybin session into results.
The importance of preparation
Triptherapie preparation involves several elements that can be divided into three categories: neurochemistry, physical health, and informational preparation. Clients who follow our advice on all three aspects generally achieve the best results. This is attributable to the synergy between these three elements and the psychedelic session.
The neurochemistry
The neurotransmitter test administered during the intake provides us with an overview of the neurochemistry. An imbalanced neurochemistry can cause symptoms. A poor neurochemical balance can also lead to a negative psychedelic experience. Using nutritional and supplement tips, we can improve neurochemistry, which in turn improves mood. More importantly, the likelihood of a successful psychedelic session and its outcomes are significantly increased when the neurochemistry is in balance. Improving neurochemistry is therefore beneficial in several ways.
The physical health
At Triptherapie, physical health is paramount. The body and mind are so closely connected that we can't distinguish between them. Anyone who wants to improve their mental health can often also do a little extra for their physical well-being. Our lifestyle coach is ready to motivate you to make healthier choices where possible. Taking good care of your body during psychedelic sessions can be the starting point for self-love or a better routine. The combination of healthy preparation and the psilocybin session can result in a reduced need for unhealthy and addictive behaviors.
The informative preparation
All the information you consume before a psychedelic session can manifest itself during a trip. As an example, dreams often stem from experiences primarily in the days leading up to the dream. This effect is also used in psilocybin sessions. The assignments, reading tips, and video suggestions are compiled based on the goals our clients specify. The initial conversation before the psilocybin session is intended to give the trip some direction, although trips cannot be completely controlled.
