I'm coming from abroad and want to attend a psychedelic retreat. What should I keep in mind when planning my trip?
About the psychedelic retreats
In addition to private psychedelic sessions, we also organize various two-day psychedelic retreats every month, including MDMA group sessions and truffle ceremonies. These usually take place at our location in Schiedam and last two days. When planning your trip from abroad, please keep the following in mind.
Is participation safe or possible?
Planning the trip
If you'd like to participate in a psychedelic retreat, it's helpful to be available on the days we offer them. Check the dates below and see if you have a timeframe available. If you're participating in our retreats, we expect you somewhere between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the day of the retreat and you can stay until 12:00 PM the day after the ceremony. If you need a long flight to reach us, we recommend arriving in the Netherlands a day before and booking a hotel near our location in Schiedam (Noordvestsingel) for one night. This way, you'll be sure to arrive on time. You can also consider booking the same hotel for three or four nights if you'd like more privacy after the ceremony. We'll then take you to the hotel (provided it's nearby) after the ceremony.
The day after the ceremony, we have another morning program from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and participation is optional. After 12:00 PM, we'll close the retreat, and you can return home. If you're traveling from abroad, we recommend avoiding long-distance travel the day after the ceremony. It's best to book a hotel in a location of your choice for this day.
In short, if you're traveling far, it's helpful to arrive in the Netherlands a day beforehand and stay overnight in a hotel. The night after the ceremony, you can stay overnight together at our location or at your own hotel nearby for more privacy. The day after the ceremony, it's helpful to rest and arrange another overnight stay at a location of your choice.

Order of reservation
Once you've completed the intake form and are certain you can participate in a psychedelic retreat, you can reserve a date with us. You can do this by booking a ceremony above. After we approve your reservation, we'll send you a confirmation with a deposit request. We'll then hold the reserved space for you for a standard 48 hours. Then, book your flight(s) and any hotel accommodations. After arranging your transportation, etc., pay the deposit (instructions in the confirmation email) for the retreat, and your reservation is finalized.
After payment
Once you've definitively registered for one of our retreats, we'll send you personalized advice. You can use this advice to prepare for the ceremony. We'll also send you information about the retreat itself, including practical details, the week before the retreat.
Prefer a private retreat?
If the available dates of the planned retreats don't suit your schedule, you can book a private session or ceremony. These private sessions are not limited by the availability of the open retreats and can take place on any day, depending on the facilitator you choose. For private retreats, you can choose to use our location in Schiedam or have the session take place at your own rented space, such as a vacation home or Airbnb. The program includes the psychedelic session, group discussions, meditation, and integration activities to process and understand your experience.
If you are coming from far away, we recommend arriving in the Netherlands one day before the retreat and booking a hotel near our location in Schiedam. This ensures that you arrive on time and can start the retreat well-rested. After the ceremony, you can choose to stay overnight at our location or return to your own hotel for more privacy. It is also wise not to plan any long journeys the day after the ceremony and to book an additional overnight stay to rest and integrate the experience.
The cost for a truffle ceremony is €550 and for an MDMA group session €650. You can reserve a date by booking the desired ceremony through our website. After approval of your reservation you will receive a confirmation with a request for a deposit. We will hold your reserved spot for you for 48 hours. After arranging your transportation and accommodation, you will need to pay the deposit to finalize your reservation.
After your final registration, you will receive personal advice in preparation for the ceremony. In the week before the retreat, we will send you additional practical information about the retreat's schedule and what you can expect.
