Inner journey?
An inner journey is often seen as an effect of psychedelics such as LSD, Ayahuasca, DMT, psilocybin, truffles, magic mushrooms, psiloflora or psilohuasca. It is literally a journey within. The subconscious and the processes that are usually not visible can reveal themselves to consciousness. Subconscious patterns and limitations can change through insights from such an inner journey.
Why an inner journey?
The reasons for taking a psychedelic inner journey vary from therapy, spirituality, self-development or the experience itself. The most common therapeutic reasons are to treat depression, burnout, (social) anxiety, addictions and PTSD.

What happens during an inner journey?
During the journey inward you become acquainted with the subconscious processes. Beyond this visual journey, blocked emotions can find a way out. At higher doses, even the perception of one's own presence can disappear, allowing the connection to everything to be felt. Without the limitations of the ego, a connection can be made with the real “I”.

Which psychedelic drug?
The psychedelic with the fewest adverse side effects or interactions with medication is psilocybin (truffles/magic mushrooms). This is therefore a truffle ceremony. Unlike ayahuasca, a truffle ceremony is legal in the Netherlands and if the dosage is high enough it can go deep while being friendlier to the body.

For those who want to combine the truffle ceremony with an MAO inhibitor (as is required with ayahuasca), you can try a variant of psilohuasca. Truffles in combination with the mild MAO inhibitor passion flower is safer than psilohuasca and we call it psiloflora.
