VTM No Cap: MDMA session in the Netherlands
In October 2023, the editors of the VTM GO program 'No Cap' asked Triptherapie to collaborate on an episode about drugs. The aim was to show the dangers of casual use, but also that some drugs can have a healing effect under the guidance of a therapist. Because the editors of 'No Cap' like to create programs to inform young people, we thought it would be useful to participate in this.
Camille Vanuxem does MDMA
Camille Vanuxem is the one who wants to undergo the MDMA session and has therefore completed the intake before the recordings. Before the session could take place, we checked the intake for contraindications and there were several conversations in preparation for the MDMA session.
Video disclaimer
Although the video talks a lot about MDMA out of convenience, it actually uses a legal analogue that can produce the same therapeutic effects as illegal MDMA. The MDMA sessions are not yet covered by medical treatment and this care is not reimbursed by health insurers. This may of course change in the near future.
