Psychedelic Intensives: Coming home to yourself

This two-day psychedelic intensive invites you not just to experience something, but to come home more deeply to yourself. You are guided in a safe, carefully held setting for psilocybin experiences, with a strong emphasis on integration and embodiment.

It is neither a standalone ceremony nor a purely therapeutic trajectory, but a coherent programme in which meeting, experience, integration and embodiment support one another. You are invited to explore who or what you truly are and how this can resonate in your life.

The psychedelic session forms the heart of the first day. The second day is dedicated to integrating what you have experienced, both in your body, your relationships and your daily life.

We work from an attitude of softening, opening and clear perception rather than forcing. You practise an attitude of welcoming rather than resistance: whatever arises is allowed to be there. In that openness, space, insight and deeper contact with yourself can emerge

Who is this psychedelic retreat intended for?

This intensive is for you if you are curious about your inner world and want to explore what lives beneath the surface. When you are willing to look at yourself honestly, including those parts you might prefer to avoid, and to do so with openness instead of judgement. It is a programme for people who not only want insight, but also long for actual integration into their daily lives. Not just understanding why something is the way it is, but also feeling how it can be different.

Perhaps you notice that you often get stuck in your head, that you analyse a lot or overthink, whilst deep down you long for a greater connection with yourself. Or perhaps you feel a need for peace, for slowing down, for a place where silence and depth are given space. If you are open to vulnerability, to allowing emotions and to the process as it unfolds, then this intensive will suit you well.

It is less fitting when you are primarily looking for spectacle, a quick fix, or an experience that you can completely control. This intensive does not ask for performance, but presence. It is precisely fitting when you want to deepen rather than accelerate, soften rather than force, and long for clarification that arises from within and resonates in how you live.

What does this intensive bring you?

You can come home to an expanded state of consciousness that reaches beyond your usual way of looking at things. A perspective in which fixed beliefs loosen up a bit and you can see yourself, your history and your future in a broader light. Not as an escape from reality, but as an expansion of it.

You can also come home to a deeper connection with your body and your inner life. Where feelings are no longer merely understood with your head, but actually felt and fully experienced. Where the signals of your body regain meaning and your intuition becomes clearer and more audible.

In addition, more gentleness and clarity can arise in how you meet yourself. Less internal struggle, less harshness, more understanding for your own processes. Clarity here does not mean that everything is resolved, but that you can look at yourself with greater awareness and compassion.

You can experience access to a vaster, supporting layer of awareness. An inner foundation that is also present when emotions are intense or when life is grating. A sense of space instead of constriction, of being carried rather than carrying it all alone.

And finally, you can come home in concrete, achievable steps to anchor your insights in your daily life. Not just an extraordinary experience, but a movement that resonates in how you make choices, communicate, set boundaries and care for yourself.

We work not only with what you experience during the psychedelic session, but above all with how you relate to yourself and the world afterwards.
It is about a shift from doing to being, grasping to allowing, resistance to trust.

The supervising therapists

🇳🇱 🇬🇧 🇩🇪

Gijs has been working at the intersection of meditation, consciousness and psychotherapy for decades. He started in regular mental healthcare and has been delivering mindfulness, compassion, ACT and Open Focus training courses since 2008. He combines clinical experience with contemplative depth, offering a safe, carefully held container.

Mascha Loschmann

Mascha Loschmann

🇳🇱 🇬🇧

Mascha has more than thirty years of experience in body-oriented work. She has been trained in, among other things, IFS (Internal Family Systems), yoga-based trauma therapy, Feldenkrais, VITA Coaching, Heart EQ, relationship coaching and systemic work. Her guidance is warm, down-to-earth and body-oriented.

Together, Gijs and Mascha bring more than sixty years of combined experience in training, therapy and consciousness work. You feel that wealth of experience not as theory, but as presence. As craftsmanship that has been lived through, refined and attuned to what is needed in the moment.

Gijs embodies space and stillness. He invites deceleration, settling in, and allowing what arises without trying to direct it. In his presence, an atmosphere is created where nothing is required and everything is allowed to be. Silence does not become an emptiness, but a sustaining quality in which insight and awareness can naturally emerge.

Mascha brings movement and embodiment. She helps you not only to understand, but also to feel and integrate into your body. Where words end, she opens the path to experience. Her energy supports expression, flow and truly inhabiting what you discover.

Together they form a complementary and safe container. Space and movement, stillness and expression, consciousness and embodiment come together in a tuned guidance in which you can feel supported and seen.

Approaches in this intensive

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

We work with Internal Family Systems to learn to recognise and understand different parts of yourself. Instead of suppressing inner conflicts, space is created to look at your protectors, areas of pain and desires with gentleness and curiosity. This increases inner cohesion and strengthens your capacity for self-leadership.

Body-oriented therapy & Feldenkrais

Somatic therapy and Feldenkrais support the restoration of contact with your body. Patterns that become mentally entrenched are often also stored in muscle tension, posture and movement. By working subtly with awareness and movement, relaxation, regulation and a new freedom of choice can emerge.

Yoga and breathwork

Yoga and breathwork take you out of your head and back into direct experience. The breath acts as a bridge between body and mind, helping to release tension, process emotions and regulate your nervous system.

Mindfulness and compassion training

Mindfulness and compassion training form a foundation of attention and kindness. You learn to be present with what is, without reacting immediately or judging. Compassion deepens this process by cultivating a warm, accepting attitude towards yourself and others.

Insight Dialogue & Interpersonal Mindfulness

Insight Dialogue and interpersonal mindfulness bring awareness into contact with the other person. Instead of just inner work, clarity also arises in relationship. You examine how you react, where you lose yourself, and how you can remain authentically present in connection.

ACT for embedding in daily life

ACT helps to embed insights into daily life. Not by striving for a trouble-free existence, but by learning to live from values, even when things are difficult. It supports concrete, achievable steps that fit with who you want to be.

Non-duality psychology

Non-dual psychology opens the perspective beyond the personal story. Here, what consciousness itself is, is explored, apart from identification with thoughts and emotions. This can bring a deep sense of space and simplicity.

Tantra and embodiment

Tantra and embodiment invite us to inhabit life fully. Not just the light and pleasant, but also the raw and intense. Through presence, breath, movement and contact, a deeper integration of body, heart and consciousness arises.

The programme for the two-day intensive

The programme consists of several parts, including the intake, following a personal preparation plan, online group preparation, the ceremony, the integration day and a follow-up video call.

Intake

Completing the intake form is necessary for us to determine whether you can participate in psychedelic sessions. If you are able to participate, you will receive personal preparation advice from us shortly after booking, based on the intake information you have provided.

Personal preparation

After booking

The personal preparation we give you after making a reservation is designed to prepare you physically and mentally for the ceremony itself. This advice is tailored to your intake and can be carried out independently. If you need support, you can always contact the Triptherapie team.

Online group preparation

Approximately 1.5 hours via Zoom, about a week in advance

We start with an online meeting to strengthen intention, safety and connection. In a joint online meeting you will get to know Gijs, Mascha and the other participants, so that a sense of safety and connection is created right from the start. You will receive a clear explanation of the programme and the set-up of the psychedelic session, so that you know what to expect. We take the time to explore and deepen your intention, as an inner compass for the journey. Gijs will guide a short meditation in which you can slow down and land within yourself. There is room to ask questions and share any concerns or expectations. Afterwards, you will receive in-depth preparation questions by email, so that you begin the intensive consciously and aligned.

Day 2

Integration day

Day 2 starts at 09:00 with breakfast and runs until 17:00, with the focus shifting from experience to integration.
We start with silence and an embodied check-in, followed by meditation and Insight Dialogue to further deepen your experience in connection with yourself and the other.
By writing about what you have experienced and connecting this to integrative work with IFS, mindfulness and body-oriented exercises, your process gains a container and meaning.
A longer Yoga Nidra supports deep physical integration, after which you write a compassionate letter to yourself to strengthen gentleness and clarity.
During a silent walk in nature, everything is given the space to settle, after which we work with values and small, concrete commitments to anchor your insights.
We conclude by gently landing your intention in the body and a joint ritual of light and farewell.

Follow-up

Online follow-up (1.5 hours via Zoom)

In a concluding online meeting about a month later, you reflect together on:

  • how the experience carries over into your daily life;

  • what has been deepened or changed;

  • what you run into;

  • what support you need.

Together, we explore how your new direction or intentions manifest in your life and how you can continue to nurture them.

Questions about the two-day truffle retreat

The most frequently asked questions about truffle psychedelic retreats

This two-day retreat is a cohesive journey in which preparation, experience and integration form a single whole. The psychedelic session with psilocybin is an important component, but just as essential is the deeper exploration on day two and the follow-up gathering. The programme focuses on embodiment and anchoring in your daily life, not just on the experience itself.

The intensive takes place at De Bedding in ’s-Hertogenbosch, a floating venue on the Ertveldplas. This water-rich and green environment provides peace, privacy and natural stillness. Many participants find the combination of water, air and space to be calming and supportive of inner work.

The price of this comprehensive retreat is 950 euros. In return, you receive a great deal of therapeutic support and an overnight stay. Should you prefer a less intensive weekend with one ceremony, please take a look at the truffle ceremony with overnight stay from 600 euros.

De Bedding combines security with openness. Inside, the space is warm, understated and meticulously designed. Outside, the water and natural surroundings create a sense of space and freedom. This interplay makes the location highly suitable for in-depth, guided sessions and retreats.

Prior to participation, a professional screening takes place via Triptherapie to assess whether a psychedelic session is currently appropriate and safe for you. Your physical and mental health and personal background are evaluated. During the session, there is continuous guidance from two highly experienced professionals, and the guides remain reachable throughout the night.

It is not compulsory to stay overnight at our venue during our retreats. Some people choose greater privacy and stay in a nearby hotel or at home, returning the next morning to join back in.

No, experience is not required. Both people with prior experience and those participating for the first time can join, provided the screening is positive. The careful structure and guidance make the process accessible and safe.

The group is small-scale so that there is sufficient personal attention and safety. There is room for meeting and exchange, but nothing is forced. You always retain control over what you do or do not share. At the De Bedding location in Den Bosch, ceremonies are limited to a maximum of four people.

If you specifically want to book the two-day course with the integration day, you can this link use. See here for a overview of all group ceremonies.
