Psychedelic Intensives: Coming home to yourself

Two days before deepening, understanding and integration

Sometimes it can be valuable to take a break from your daily life and look at yourself with a fresh perspective. To what you are preoccupied with, the patterns you get stuck in, and what is truly important to you. During this two-day intensive, you will have the space to meet yourself in a different way. The first day is dedicated to a guided psychedelic session using psilocybin. On the second day, we will devote extensive attention to processing and integrating your experiences.

We work with a small group of up to four participants and two experienced facilitators. Personal attention, careful preparation, and a calm, safe environment are key. Our approach is open and exploratory. You don’t have to achieve or change anything. We invite you to be present with curiosity and kindness to what is unfolding.

A special experience can be valuable. But what you do with it in your daily life is at least as important.

Who is this psychedelic retreat intended for?

This intensive course is intended for people who want to get to know themselves better and are willing to explore their inner world.

Perhaps you encounter recurring patterns. Perhaps you notice that you spend a lot of time thinking and analyzing, but have difficulty connecting with what you truly feel. Or perhaps things are going well for you, but you long for more depth, freedom, or connection. You don’t need to have experience with psychedelics or meditation. What is important is that you are willing to open yourself to an experience whose course is not predetermined.

This intensive is less suitable if you are primarily looking for a spectacular experience or expect a psychedelic session to solve your problems in one go. We carefully assess beforehand whether participation is appropriate for you at this time.

What does this intensive bring you?

A psychedelic experience can temporarily change the way you normally view things. Thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that normally seem obvious can take on a different perspective.

That can open up space for new insights. For example, about yourself, your relationships, your life history, or the choices you make. Some people experience a deep sense of connection, love, or inner peace. Others, on the other hand, come into contact with grief, fear, or other difficult feelings. An experience can also be confusing or yield less than expected results. There is no prescribed experience or outcome that you must achieve.

During the second day, we will explore together what your experience means to you. What has touched you? What calls for attention? And how can you bring valuable insights into your daily life? It is not about chasing a special state of consciousness, but about an open encounter with yourself and what can grow from that.

We work not only with what you experience during the psychedelic session, but above all with how you relate to yourself and the world afterwards.
It is about a shift from doing to being, grasping to allowing, resistance to trust.

The supervising therapists

Gijs has been working at the intersection of meditation, consciousness and psychotherapy for decades. He started in regular mental healthcare and has been delivering mindfulness, compassion, ACT and Open Focus training courses since 2008. He combines clinical experience with contemplative depth, offering a safe, carefully held container.

Mascha Loschmann

Mascha Loschmann

🇳🇱 🇬🇧

Mascha has more than thirty years of experience in body-oriented work. She has been trained in, among other things, IFS (Internal Family Systems), yoga-based trauma therapy, Feldenkrais, VITA Coaching, Heart EQ, relationship coaching and systemic work. Her guidance is warm, down-to-earth and body-oriented.

Gijs has over twenty years of experience in mental health care, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention. Since 2006, he has been leading mindfulness groups and has further developed his skills in compassion training, ACT, Open Focus, and various forms of meditation. His approach focuses on attention, silence, and an open, non-judgmental attitude. He encourages participants to allow their experiences to unfold without trying to immediately explain, change, or resolve them.

Mascha has more than thirty years of experience in body-oriented work and personal development. Her background includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Feldenkrais, body-oriented trauma approaches, yoga, and systemic work. In her coaching, she focuses on the connection between bodily sensations, emotions, and personal experiences. In doing so, she works with attention, movement, and experiential exercises.

Two additional approaches

Gijs and Mascha each bring their own backgrounds and skills to the project. Gijs focuses on meditation, consciousness and allowing for experiences. Mascha adds body-oriented work, movement and expression to this. Together, they guide the intensive from a shared attitude of care, involvement and respect for each person’s personal process.

With a maximum of four participants, there is plenty of room for individual attention.

Our approach

Our approach

In this intensive approach, we combine three complementary approaches.

Attention and awareness

Mindfulness, meditation, and Open Focus help you to be present with an open and curious attitude towards your experiences. Not everything needs to be understood or changed. Sometimes, it is precisely the absence of seeking solutions that creates space.

Experiencing the body in a holistic way

Feelings and experiences also have a physical aspect. Through quiet movement, body awareness and exercises inspired by Feldenkrais and other body-oriented approaches, we explore what you experience in your body. In doing so, we always respect your personal limits.

Integration in everyday life

Using elements from ACT, IFS, compassion training, and mindful dialogue, we explore how to give meaning to our experiences. We focus on recurring patterns, important life values, and how we relate to ourselves and others. The program is not a fixed therapeutic protocol. We adapt the exercises to the group and to what arises during the intensive sessions.

The programme for the two-day intensive

The programme consists of several parts, including the intake, following a personal preparation plan, online group preparation, the ceremony, the integration day and a follow-up video call.

Intake

Completing the intake form is necessary for us to determine whether you can participate in psychedelic sessions. If you are able to participate, you will receive personal preparation advice from us shortly after booking, based on the intake information you have provided.

Personal preparation

After booking

The personal preparation we give you after making a reservation is designed to prepare you physically and mentally for the ceremony itself. This advice is tailored to your intake and can be carried out independently. If you need support, you can always contact the Triptherapie team.

Online group preparation

Approximately 1.5 hours via Zoom, about a week in advance

About a week before the intensive meeting, we meet online for an hour and a half. For that reason, the registration closes one week before the start of the psychedelic session.

You get to know the facilitators and the other participants. We discuss the course of the two days, the possible effects of psilocybin, and how to deal with difficult moments.

We also take into account your personal intent. What brings you here? What would you like to explore?

Gijs leads a short meditation. In addition, there is plenty of room for questions, doubts, and practical matters.

At the end of the session, you will receive some reflection questions to help you prepare further.

Day 1

Arrive, open, experience

13:30 | Reception & meet and greet

14:00 | Group opening with breath, movement and presence

14:30 | Clarifying and empowering intentions

15:00 | Start of truffle ceremony

21:00 | Soft landing and light meal

Day 2

Integration day

Day 2 starts at 09:00 with breakfast and runs until 17:00, with the focus shifting from experience to integration.
We start with silence and an embodied check-in, followed by meditation and Insight Dialogue to further deepen your experience in connection with yourself and the other.
By writing about what you have experienced and connecting this to integrative work with IFS, mindfulness and body-oriented exercises, your process gains a container and meaning.
A longer Yoga Nidra supports deep physical integration, after which you write a compassionate letter to yourself to strengthen gentleness and clarity.
During a silent walk in nature, everything is given the space to settle, after which we work with values and small, concrete commitments to anchor your insights.
We conclude by gently landing your intention in the body and a joint ritual of light and farewell.

Follow-up

Online follow-up (1.5 hours via Zoom)

In a concluding online meeting about a month later, you reflect together on:

  • how the experience carries over into your daily life;

  • what has been deepened or changed;

  • what you run into;

  • what support you need.

Together, we explore how your new direction or intentions manifest in your life and how you can continue to nurture them.

Questions about the two-day truffle retreat

The most frequently asked questions about truffle psychedelic retreats

This two-day retreat is a cohesive journey in which preparation, experience and integration form a single whole. The psychedelic session with psilocybin is an important component, but just as essential is the deeper exploration on day two and the follow-up gathering. The programme focuses on embodiment and anchoring in your daily life, not just on the experience itself.

The intensive takes place at De Bedding in ’s-Hertogenbosch, a floating venue on the Ertveldplas. This water-rich and green environment provides peace, privacy and natural stillness. Many participants find the combination of water, air and space to be calming and supportive of inner work.

The price of this comprehensive retreat is 950 euros. In return, you receive a great deal of therapeutic support and an overnight stay. Should you prefer a less intensive weekend with one ceremony, please take a look at the truffle ceremony with overnight stay from 600 euros.

De Bedding combines security with openness. Inside, the space is warm, understated and meticulously designed. Outside, the water and natural surroundings create a sense of space and freedom. This interplay makes the location highly suitable for in-depth, guided sessions and retreats.

Prior to participation, a professional screening takes place via Triptherapie to assess whether a psychedelic session is currently appropriate and safe for you. Your physical and mental health and personal background are evaluated. During the session, there is continuous guidance from two highly experienced professionals, and the guides remain reachable throughout the night.

It is not compulsory to stay overnight at our venue during our retreats. Some people choose greater privacy and stay in a nearby hotel or at home, returning the next morning to join back in.

No, experience is not required. Both people with prior experience and those participating for the first time can join, provided the screening is positive. The careful structure and guidance make the process accessible and safe.

The group is small-scale so that there is sufficient personal attention and safety. There is room for meeting and exchange, but nothing is forced. You always retain control over what you do or do not share. At the De Bedding location in Den Bosch, ceremonies are limited to a maximum of four people.
