The magical truffle ceremony

The magic truffle ceremony is called magical because of the unique and profound experiences participants can undergo during it. These experiences are often transformative and can lead to important insights about themselves and life. Magic truffles are used during the ceremony. These truffles contain psilocybin, a psychoactive substance that opens the mind to new perspectives and shifts in consciousness.

One of the reasons the truffle ceremony is experienced as magical is its ability to process emotional blockages and trauma. Many people come to the ceremony hoping to overcome anxiety, stress, or depression. The psychedelic experience can help them view these issues from a new perspective and let go of what's holding them back. This process of emotional healing can lead to a sense of liberation and enlightenment.

In addition, participants often experience a deeper connection with nature and everything around them. The truffles can create a sense of unity and connectedness, leading to a heightened awareness of the beauty and complexity of life. This can add a spiritual dimension to the experience, making participants feel more in harmony with the world.

The magic truffle ceremony can often also increase creativity and empathy. Many participants report feeling more open to new ideas and perspectives after the ceremony. This can help them think more creatively and communicate better with others. The insights gained during the ceremony can also contribute to personal growth and development.

Another aspect that makes the ceremony magical is the variety of experiences participants can have. No two ceremonies are the same, and outcomes can vary greatly depending on the person, the dosage, and the setting. This makes each ceremony unique and can lead to surprising and unexpected insights.

All these elements together make the magical truffle ceremony a unique and valuable experience that can help participants transform their lives for the better. The combination of psychedelic experiences, emotional healing, spiritual growth, and personal development makes the ceremony a magical experience.

Special combinations

During our magical truffle ceremonies, participants can choose various additions to deepen the psychedelic experience. For example, you can combine the truffles with cacao, blue lotus, passion flower (psiloflora), or Banisteriopsis caapi (psilohuasca). These additions can help enrich the experience, promote feelings of relaxation and connection, and enhance the spiritual dimension of the ceremony. Each of these additions has unique properties that can influence and deepen the journey, allowing participants to enjoy an even more intense and meaningful experience.

Psilohuasca ceremony

Psilohuasca is similar to the ayahuasca experience because it's a combination of a psychedelic and an MAOI. In ayahuasca, the psychedelic is DMT, while psilohuasca uses psilocybin or psilocin.

Psiloflora ceremony

Psiloflora is similar to ayahuasca and psilohuasca in terms of hallucinations, but is less intense for the body. It also doesn't require a strict diet and has fewer contraindications.

Cacao truffle ceremony

In the cacao truffle ceremony, the effects of cacao are used as a heart opener, but it also slightly extends the truffles' effect. Cacao can also improve mood.

Blue lotus truffle ceremony

Blue lotus during a truffle ceremony gives the truffles a slightly stimulating yet dreamy effect. This combination is perfect for those seeking a spiritual or healing journey.

Pure truffle ceremony

Many of the aforementioned combinations are primarily used by people who already have experience with psychedelics like truffles, DMT, 2C-B ayahuasca, LSD, and other hallucinogens. For most novices, it's recommended to focus solely on the effects of psilocybin and therefore choose truffles alone. This is because using truffles alone offers a more predictable potency and easier dosing than using combinations. If people choose to use truffles alone, we can also start with an introductory dose and assess whether to increase the dosage after an hour of ingestion.

Psilocybin dosage during the ceremony

The dosage of the truffles, and thus the psilocybin, significantly influences the strength of the psychedelic effects. The higher the dosage, the greater the chance of strong stimulation of the serotonin receptor (5HT2a), leading to more intense effects. The effects are divided into different trip levels, with lower doses producing less intense experiences and higher doses leading to stronger hallucinations and changes in perception. See below for the different dosages and trip levels so we can work with you to determine the best dosage.

How psilocybin works

When you use truffles, you ingest psilocybin, but also psilocin. After ingesting these substances, various processes are initiated, resulting in a psychedelic experience. The progress people make through a truffle ceremony is often attributed to the subjective experience, and while this is indeed important, it also partially determines the improvements. A large part of the healing power of magic mushrooms, truffles, or psilocybin stems from the biological processes they initiate, such as inhibiting inflammation, protecting various cell types, and initiating the creation of new neural connections in the brain. A truffle ceremony is a guided experience using truffles containing psilocybin (the active ingredient in magic mushrooms) in a ritual or therapeutic setting. These ceremonies take place in a safe, supportive environment under the guidance of our experienced trip-sitters and therapists. The goal is usually personal growth, spiritual exploration, emotional healing, or processing trauma.

During a truffle ceremony the participant goes through several stages:

  1. PreparationThis includes a conversation with the facilitator to discuss intentions, answer questions, and share any fears or expectations. Physical and mental preparation, such as fasting or meditation, may also be part of this process.

  2. IntakeThe truffles are consumed, often in a calm, serene environment. The dosage is adjusted to the participant's experience and needs.

  3. The experienceAfter ingestion, the psilocybin begins to take effect, which can lead to profound emotional, visual, and spiritual experiences. The facilitator remains present to offer support, ensure safety, and provide guidance as needed.

Currently, health insurers do not reimburse psychedelic therapy. For now, psychedelic therapy is not yet recognized as a medical treatment and is considered more like coaching under the influence of a stimulant. We expect that psychedelic therapy will not be partially reimbursed until 2026/2027, under certain conditions. By then, more research will have been completed, and health insurers may be less hesitant.
