VTM No Cap: MDMA session in the Netherlands
In October 2023, the editors of the VTM GO program "No Cap" asked Triptherapie to collaborate on an episode about drugs. The goal was to show the dangers of excessive drug use, but also that, under the guidance of a therapist, some drugs can have a healing effect. Because the editors of "No Cap" enjoy creating programs that inform young people, we felt it would be helpful to participate.
Camille Vanuxem does MDMA
Camille Vanuxem is the one who wants to undergo the MDMA session and has therefore completed the intake form before the recordings. Before the session could take place, we checked the intake form for contraindications and had several conversations to prepare for the MDMA session.
Disclaimer video
Although the video conveniently mentions MDMA, it actually uses a legal analogue that can produce the same therapeutic effects as illegal MDMA. Furthermore, MDMA sessions are not yet considered medical treatment, and this care is not covered by health insurance. This could, of course, change in the near future.

Good results after a challenging start
Psychedelic sessions often begin with resistance, and Camille was no exception. The art of coaching lies in transforming challenging situations into insights and solutions.
